Job summary

TikTok is seeking a data-driven professional to join its Safety Model Operations (SMO) team in Kuala Lumpur to support machine learning models for Trust & Safety across regions.

You will contribute to QA, data evaluation, and policy operations, translating complex rules into SOPs, improving data quality, and collaborating with global teams. Proficiency in English and German is required for cross-border liaison.

Qualifications

• Experience in internet Trust & Safety, QA, AI data evaluation, or policy operations.
• Exceptional logical reasoning and the ability to navigate complex scenarios to deliver structured solutions.
• Professional working proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication.
• Self-motivated with ownership, able to handle fast-paced cross-border work and multiple tasks.
• German proficiency is mandatory for daily liaison with the German market.

Responsibilities

• Construct and iterate core Golden Sets for content safety, establishing data standards for policies and model evaluation.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses on high-risk safety cases to identify misapplication patterns and risk evolution.
• Drive content safety data closed-loop with cross-functional teams to improve review quality and AI interception efficacy.
• Systematize QA frameworks and monitor data metrics to improve accuracy and efficiency.
