Job summary

MAPEI Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks a field-based sales specialist to identify upcoming projects and ensure our products are specified in blueprints of major construction projects. You will provide pre-sales product specification support to architects, engineers, quantity surveyors and project owners, and develop positive relationships with stakeholders while promoting the full range of MAPEI products.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.
3–5 years relevant working experience preferred.
Good command of English and Mandarin; proficiency in additional local languages is an advantage.
Possess a valid driving licence.
Willing to travel frequently within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

Identify new upcoming projects and provide pre-sales product specifications support to architects, engineers, quantity surveyors and project owners in all territories.
Develop positive relationships with architects, engineers, quantity surveyors and project stakeholders.
Continually create and maintain a high market awareness of company's range of products by getting it specified, in line with company's sales plan.
Assist in conducting MAPEI product training/briefing to all level of specifiers.
Collect and feedback basic market information particularly market trends and competitor's activities in construction industrial market.
Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate superior.
