Job summary

ACHIEVE Group in Malaysia seeks Purchasing Executive to Senior Manager level to support procurement for construction projects. You will source suppliers, compare quotations, prepare POs/DOs, and coordinate deliveries to sites, ensuring timely material flow and documentation.

The role covers daily purchasing activities with opportunities to assist tendering, supplier evaluation and team supervision for senior positions. Fresh grads welcome for junior tracks.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business Admin, Construction, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Purchasing role levels from Executive to Assistant Manager with progressive responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle material requisitions and verify purchasing requirements before proceeding.
• Source suitable suppliers, obtain and compare quotations, and negotiate pricing and terms.
• Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Orders (DO), ROM, invoices and procurement docs.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery to project sites.
• Monitor delivery status and follow up on outstanding or urgent materials.
• Maintain costing sheets, purchasing records and project procurement docs.
• Liaise with site teams to understand material requirements and priorities.
• Monitor inventory levels and procurement based on project needs.
• For senior/managerial level: support tendering, supplier evaluation, planning and supervision.
