CHUANGJIN CONSTRUCTION DEVELOPMENT SDN BHD is seeking a Site Purchaser to support procurement operations for on-site construction projects in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. This full-time role is essential to maintaining schedules and budgets while sourcing materials, equipment and services.

You will develop supplier relationships, issue purchase orders, monitor deliveries and coordinate with site teams to ensure timely arrivals.

Qualifications

Proven experience in procurement or purchasing within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment and suppliers.
Excellent negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing.
Proficiency with procurement software, spreadsheets and project tools.
Ability to manage multiple suppliers and purchase orders.
Diploma or equivalent in logistics, procurement or construction-related field.

Responsibilities

Source, procure and manage supply of materials, equipment and services for on-site construction.
Develop and maintain supplier relationships to secure pricing and quality.
Prepare and process purchase orders in compliance with contracts.
Monitor delivery schedules and coordinate with site teams.
Track project budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Maintain records of purchases, invoices and delivery documentation.
