Job summary

ECO Group of Companies is seeking a Project Manager for interior fit-out/renovation projects in Selangor. You will oversee the full project lifecycle, coordinate schedules, resources, and vendor communications to ensure timely delivery and profitability.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to travel or be stationed outstation as needed, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Interiors Fit-Out/renovation or related field.
• Candidate must be initiative-driven, responsible, hardworking and able to work independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; willing to travel/outstation as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all construction activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify tasks and risks from bidding through project implementation up to project completion.
• Develop cost estimates and budgets, including initial and detailed estimates.
• Assess equipment needs and recommend base on safety measures.
• Lead and support construction teams to meet deadlines and budget goals.
• Analyze monthly construction schedule updates and develop progress payments accordingly.
• Monitor daily site activities from pre-construction to completion.
• Conduct site investigations and assessments.
• Prepare vendor and subcontractor documentation.
• Develop cost estimates, budgets, and cost analyses with projected financial forecasts.
• Communicate project updates clearly with the team.
• Understand how daily work impacts corporate performance and profitability, and prioritize tasks accordingly and consistently meet the deadlines.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials, tools and resources properly allocated.
• Prepare accurate project reports including work schedules, implementations, deviations, change in subcontractors, customer issues and other related problems.
• Maintain and update project schedules and documentation.
• Implement best practices and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Willing to travel or be stationed outstation based on project requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Preferably minimum with 3 years' working experience in the Interiors Fit-Out/renovation industry or related field is required for this position.
• Candidate must have initiative, responsible, hardworking and can work independently.
• Good communication, self-motivated and interpersonal skill.
• Willing to travel and preferably willing to work outstation as and when is required. Working location may varies.
• Preferably candidates who are proficient in Microsoft Project.
