Job summary

ECO Group of Companies in Puchong New Village, Selangor, is seeking an experienced Project Manager for interior design and renovation projects. You will oversee planning, execution, and handover from start to finish, ensuring timelines, costs and quality meet client expectations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in interior design/fit-out, demonstrates initiative and independence, communicates well, and is willing to travel to outstation sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in interior design, fit-out or renovation industries or related field.
• Must show initiative, be responsible, hardworking and able to work independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to travel and outstation work as required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle project execution from planning to closeout, ensuring timelines, costs and quality.
• Lead site mobilization and logistics planning; ensure documentation systems are in place.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, manage permits and construction activities.
• Oversee resources (labour, equipment, materials) and coordinate with suppliers/subcontractors.
• Monitor safety, enforce protocols and perform quality inspections.
• Control project budgets and track costs, manage site material inventory.
• Provide regular progress reports to management and clients.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation plans and handle challenges.
• Ensure successful handover with complete documentation and client communication.
• Willingness to be stationed at outstation locations as required.
• Undertake other assigned tasks.
