Jora Malaysia is seeking a seasoned construction project manager to oversee contractors, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications. You will manage budgets, materials, and safety protocols across site activities.
The role requires coordinating with clients and stakeholders, maintaining schedules, and driving efficient completion within time and budget constraints.

Monitoring and directing the activities of contractors and subcontractors from the beginning of a construction project until its completion.
Monitor the progress of construction projects & ensure compliance with construction drawings & specifications.
Overseeing, monitoring, and managing the progress of construction projects
Organize and ensure that contractors complete their work efficiently and effectively in strict compliance with time and budget expectations.
Ensuring that necessary and relevant materials are available, and ensuring all forms of delay by contractors due to conflicting project elements are prevented.
Monitor daily site activities and site safety, conduct general site routine inspections of projects from time to time.
Minimise material and manpower wastage
Ensuring the safety of construction sites by making safety inspections and enforcing safety guidelines and protocols
Working cooperatively and liaising with clients and/or potential stakeholders and updating the progress
Ensuring that contractors and staff/workers are motivated and focused
Responsible for inspecting work done by subcontractors, defects and quality.
Overseeing and managing budgets throughout construction projects
Preparing, coordinating, and writing site reports, drawings, and other necessary documents.
Must have your own means of transportation.
Strong project management skills, strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Good problem-solving skills, as he or she must tackle and resolve issues that may arise during the construction process.
Able to liaise with local authority and familiar with the authority guidelines.
Bachelor’s degree in fields such as Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Architecture and with minimum of 8 years working experience. 10 Years working experience required for those non formal education candidates.
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
