Job summary

TSMG is seeking a proactive Point of Contact (PoC) Coordinator in Johor Bahru to build relationships with local communities and businesses, recruit participant groups, and coordinate project activities for a robotics AI data collection initiative.

You will engage with schools, NGOs, and businesses, explain the project scope and expectations, coordinate schedules, track progress, and support participant retention while liaising with the operations team.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable reaching out to businesses, organizations, and community groups.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple participants and schedules.
• Proficient with email, spreadsheets, messaging apps, and online meetings.
• Basic English communication skills; local language proficiency preferred.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Reliable internet and device access.
• Experience in recruitment, sales, customer service, community management, event coordination, or business development preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and contact local businesses, organizations, educational institutions, and community groups.
• Build and maintain relationships with community leaders and business representatives.
• Recruit groups of participants who meet project requirements.
• Explain the project scope, participation process, compensation, and expectations.
• Coordinate participant schedules and ensure recording sessions are organized.
• Act as the main point of contact between participants and the TSMG operations team.
• Track participant progress and maintain recruitment and attendance records.
• Help resolve participant questions or logistical issues.
• Ensure onboarding information and documentation are completed by participants.
• Support participant retention through regular communication and engagement.
• Report recruitment progress and project updates to the TSMG team.
