Job summary

VERONA BAKE (M) SDN BHD in Selangor is seeking a bakery worker to produce a variety of bakery products including breads, cakes, pastries and desserts. You will mix, ferment, shape and bake according to our recipes and standards, ensuring proper preparation and quality.

You will need at least SPM and 1 year of related experience, with Mandarin as an advantage. The role requires flexible scheduling including OT, weekends and holidays, with attractive salary package and benefits such as EPF, SOCSO,

Qualifications

• SPM or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of related experience is required.
• Familiar with food preparation and bakery techniques.
• Mandarin language is an advantage.
• Able to communicate in Malay and English, or Mandarin.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including OT, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Produce various types of bakery products including breads, cakes, pastries and desserts.
• Mix ingredients according to recipes to make breads, cakes, pastries, and other baked goods.
• Ensure proper preparation according to formula and scheduled standards.
• Check the quality of baking ingredients and prepare equipment for baking.
• Track expiry dates and arrange ingredient usage accordingly.
• Monitor display and availability of baked goods.
• Report low baked goods stock to superior in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and tidy baked goods counter.
• Clean the kitchen after business hours and prepare it for the next day.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the superior.

Job description

Mixes, ferments, shapes, and bakes according to specified recipes and standards.

Mix ingredients according to recipes to make breads, cake, pastries, and other baked goods.

Ensure proper preparation according to formula and scheduled standards.

Check the quality of baking ingredients and prepare equipment for baking.

Tracking ingredient expiry dates and arranging their use accordingly.

Monitoring the visual appeal and the availability of baked goods on display.

Reporting low baked goods stock to superior in a timely manner.

Maintaining a clean and tidy baked goods counter.

Cleaning the kitchen after business hours and preparing it for the next day.

To perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the superior.

Work Requirements: -

Candidate must possess at least SPM or equivalent.

At least 1Year(s)of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Mandarin Speaker is an advantage.

Able to communicate in Malay and English, or Mandarin.

In depth knowledge of food preparation and baking techniques.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule including OT, weekends, and holidays.
