Job summary

VERONA BAKE (M) SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking a bakery production worker to prepare and bake a variety of bakery products.

You will mix, ferment, shape, and bake according to recipes, ensure quality, keep a clean workspace, and support overtime and weekend shifts as required.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least SPM or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of working experience in related field.
• Able to communicate in Malay and English, or Mandarin.
• Flexible schedule including OT, weekends and holidays.
• Mandarin speaker is an advantage.
• Proficiency in food preparation and baking techniques.

Responsibilities

• Produce various bakery products according to recipes.
• Mix, ferment, shape, and bake according to standards.
• Check quality of ingredients and prepare equipment.
• Monitor display, stock levels and report low baked goods.
• Maintain cleanliness and prepare kitchen for next day.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superior.

Job description

Producing various types of bakery product including cake, bread, pastries and desserts.

Mixes, ferments, shapes, and bakes according to specified recipes and standards.

Mix ingredients according to recipes to make breads, cake, pastries, and other baked goods.

Ensure proper preparation according to formula and scheduled standards.

Check the quality of baking ingredients and prepare equipment for baking.

Tracking ingredient expiry dates and arranging their use accordingly.

Monitoring the visual appeal and the availability of baked goods on display.

Reporting low baked goods stock to superior in a timely manner.

Maintaining a clean and tidy baked goods counter.

Cleaning the kitchen after business hours and preparing it for the next day.

To perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the superior.

Work Requirements: -

Candidate must possess at least SPM or equivalent.

At least 1Year(s)of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Mandarin Speaker is an advantage.

Able to communicate in Malay and English, or Mandarin.

In depth knowledge of food preparation and baking techniques.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule including OT, weekends, and holidays.
