Job summary

Circle Spin Precision Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a CNC Turner Machinist to set up and program CNC turning machines for mass production in a high-volume environment. You will edit programs, supervise operators, and monitor productivity to meet quality targets.

The role requires reading technical drawings, using measuring tools, and basic troubleshooting. Overtime and rotating shifts may be required in this team-focused facility.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years CNC turning experience required.
• Experience in CNC setting and programming is a must.
• Able to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments.
• Basic knowledge of cutting tools and CNC machining processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC turning machines for mass production.
• Create, edit and adjust CNC programs according to drawings and production requirements.
• Guide Operators to ensure smooth production and maintain quality and productivity.
• Monitor productivity, quality and cycle time to achieve targets.
• Perform basic machine troubleshooting and ensure proper handling of tools and materials.
• Conduct inspections using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).

Job description

Responsible for CNC setting, programming and monitoring production to achieve quality and productivity targets in a mass production environment.

Key responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC turning machines for mass production

Create, edit and adjust CNC programs according to drawings and production requirements

Work closely with Superior and Quality team, guide Operators to ensure smooth production and maintain quality and productivity

Monitor productivity, quality and cycle time to achieve production targets

Perform basic machine troubleshooting and ensure proper handling of tools and materials

Conduct inspections using measuring tools (e.g. calipers, micrometers)

Requirements

Minimum 1-2 years of relevant CNC turning experience

Experience in CNC machine setting and programming is a must

Able to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments

Basic knowledge of cutting tools and CNC machining processes

Responsible, disciplined and able to work independently and in a team

Willing to work rotating shifts and overtime when required
