LINKA TECH(MELAKA)SDN.BHD. in Malacca is seeking a CNC Machinist to set up and operate precision milling machines, interpreting G-Code and engineering drawings to produce components.

You will perform self-inspections, verify tolerances, and contribute to daily production plans. The role requires shift work, strong technical skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in our newly established aerospace company with competitive salaries and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of SKM or Diploma in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Industrial Machine or equivalent in machining or mechanical engineering.
• Able to read, interpret, and use G-Code, drawings, tolerances, and technical specifications.
• Skilled in using various measuring and inspection tools.
• Knowledge of cutting parameters and tool selection for materials such as aluminum.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture precision parts according to process drawings.
• Responsible for quality self-inspection at various machining stages to meet quality requirements.
• Execute the team production plan, completing tasks on time and in quantity.
• Daily maintenance check on the machine and ensure proper function.
• Maintain 6S on site and keep working surfaces clean and tidy.
• Complete any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Job description

Minimum of SKM (Malaysian Skills Certificate) or Diploma in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Industrial Machine or equivalent qualification in machining or mechanical engineering.

Able to read, compose, interpret and use G-Code, engineering drawings, tolerances, and technical specifications.

Skilled in using various measuring and inspection tools.

Knowledge of cutting parameters and tool selection for various materials such as aluminum or others type of metals.

Willing to work in shifts and overtime as required by production needs.

Proactive, Initiative of learning, disciplined, detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently or in a team.

Basic communication skills in Bahasa Melayu and/or English.

This role requires strong technical skills in machine handling, tool selection, interpretation of technical drawings, and quality inspection of finished parts.

Roles and Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture precision parts according to process drawings.

Responsible for quality self-inspection on the workpiece at various stages of the machining process, ensuring all workpieces meet quality requirements.

Responsible for executing the team production plan, completing the tasks on time and in quantity

Daily maintenance check on the machine, ensure the machine is functioning properly

Maintain the 6S on site, ensure all working surfaces are clean and tidy

Complete any other task as assigned by the supervisor
