Job summary

Nueratec Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Ulu Tiram, Johor, seeks a skilled CNC Programmer to develop and optimise CNC programs from engineering drawings and customer requirements. You will select tools, fixtures, and parameters, and drive productivity while meeting quality standards.

The role requires 2+ years in CNC programming, familiarity with CAM software, and the ability to read drawings and GD&T. Collaborative teamwork and adherence to safety are essential in this manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with Mastercam or similar CAM programming software is an advantage.
• Proficient in CNC Milling and/or Turning programming.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes and cutting tools.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise CNC programs based on engineering drawings and customer requirements.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters.
• Optimise machining processes to improve productivity and reduce cycle time.
• Support machine setup and troubleshoot programming issues.
• Modify and update CNC programs when required.
• Conduct first article verification before production.
• Maintain programming documentation and revision records.
• Work closely with Production and Quality teams to ensure product compliance.
• Ensure compliance with company safety and quality procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
