Job summary

Nueratec Manufacturing Sdn Bhd – Ulu Tiram, Johor is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will develop, optimise, and maintain CNC machining programs to ensure efficient production while meeting customer specifications and quality standards.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 2 years of CNC programming experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Diploma/Certificate in Engineering fields as listed.
• 2+ years CNC programming experience in manufacturing.
• Proficient in CNC Milling/Turning programming.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise CNC programs from drawings and customer requirements.
• Select cutting tools, fixtures, and parameters.
• Improve productivity and reduce cycle time.
• Support machine setup and troubleshoot programming issues.
• Modify CNC programs as required and perform first article verification.
• Maintain programming documentation and revision records.
• Collaborate with Production and Quality to ensure compliance.
• Adhere to safety and quality procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, optimising, and maintaining CNC machining programs to ensure efficient production while meeting customer specifications and quality standards.

Requirement

• Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Precision Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in CNC programming within a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with Mastercam or similar CAM programming software is an advantage.
• Proficient in CNC Milling and/or Turning programming.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes and cutting tools.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibility

• Develop and optimise CNC programs based on engineering drawings and customer requirements.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters.
• Optimise machining processes to improve productivity and reduce cycle time.
• Support machine setup and troubleshoot programming issues.
• Modify and update CNC programs when required.
• Conduct first article verification before production.
• Maintain programming documentation and revision records.
• Work closely with Production and Quality teams to ensure product compliance.
• Ensure compliance with company safety and quality procedures.
