Nueratec Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced CNC Machine Setter in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. You will prepare CNC machines for production by setting up tools, fixtures, and machine parameters while ensuring quality before production begins.

Requirements include a mechanical engineering degree or related field, 2–4 years CNC setup experience, and proficiency with CNC Milling/Turning. CAD/CAM knowledge is a plus; strong problem-solving and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in a related engineering field is required.
• 2–4 years CNC machine setup experience preferred.
• Proficient in CNC Milling/Turning setup.
• Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC Milling machines according to production schedules.
• Install tools, fixtures, and workpieces on 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis machines.
• Perform first-piece inspection before production start.
• Set machine offsets and tool wear compensation; troubleshoot setup issues.
• Support operators during production and ensure equipment readiness.

Requirement:

• Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Precision Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of CNC machine setup experience is preferred.
• Proficient in CNC Milling or Turning machine setup.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes and cutting tools.
• Good troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Able to verify FAI inspection and fine tuning machine.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Set up CNC Milling machines according to production schedules.
• Hands-on experience in setting up 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC milling machines is preferred and will be considered an advantage.
• Install cutting tools, fixtures, and workpieces.
• Perform first-piece inspection before production.
