Job summary

Choo Bee Metal Industries in Malaysia seeks an experienced CNC operator to set up and run CNC machines according to work orders and blueprints, read technical drawings, select tools, monitor operations, and document production data.

Candidates should have at least 2 years in CNC machining, familiarity with CAM software (Fusion 360 or Mastercam), basic G-code editing, and be able to maintain ISO/lean manufacturing standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience.
• Familiarity with CAM software (Fusion 360 or Mastercam).
• Ability to document daily production records.
• Experience in ISO/lean environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines according to work orders and blueprints.
• Read and interpret technical drawings or schematics programs.
• Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for each job.
• Monitor machine operations and make real-time adjustments as needed.
• Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges or other suitable tools.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces in compliance with safety standards & procedures.
• Ensure safety and environmental standards prevails and its operation process including discharge, effluents or discarded materials.
• Perform records on production data and report nonconformities, if any.
• Contribute new ideas for continuous improvement in areas relating to productivity, effectiveness, efficiency, quality and cost savings effects.
• Act on any other responsibilities as may be directed by work superior from time to time.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION REQUIRED

Familiarity with CAM software (like Fusion 360 or Mastercam, etc.) and basic G-code editing

Ability to document records on daily basis and generate summary report accordingly.

Experience working in ISO certified or lean manufacturing environments is an added experience.
