We are looking for a skilled and responsibleCNC Machinistto operate CNC machines and produce precision components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The successful candidate should be able to set up machines, perform machining operations, inspect finished parts, and troubleshoot basic machining issues.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Set up CNC machines, including tooling, work holding, offsets, and workpieces.
Load and modify CNC programs as required.
Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining parameters.
Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and gauges.
Ensure machined components meet specified dimensions and quality requirements.
Identify and troubleshoot machining, tooling, and machine-related problems.
Follow company procedures, safety requirements, and quality control standards.
Minimize material waste, machine downtime, and production defects.
Work closely with senior engineer, and quality personnel to meet production targets.
Follow safety protocols and report hazards or malfunctions.
Perform manual micro drilling and milling operation based on drawings and specifications.
Perform deburring, buffing and polishing of machined/tooling parts.
Fabricate manual epoxy moulds when required.
Certificate, Diploma, or relevant technical qualification inMachining, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Previous experience as a CNC Machinist is preferred.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Knowledge of CNC machining processes, tooling, and measuring equipment.
Basic knowledge ofG-code/M-code and CNC programmingis an advantage.
Good understanding of tolerances, GD&T, and precision measurement.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Willing to work shifts and overtime when required.
Strong commitment to safety and product quality.
