Job summary

Humanetics Precision Metal Fabrication (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate Mazak CNC Milling / Machining Centre. You will perform complete machine setup, tooling, work offsets and program modifications to keep production stable and within spec.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, first-piece and in-process inspections, troubleshooting and proactive maintenance of machines and fixtures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC Milling/Machining Centre experience.
• Hands-on Mazak CNC experience is mandatory.
• Proficient in reading drawings and machining specs.
• Knowledge of tooling/work offsets and machining processes.
• Basic CNC programming and modification of programs.
• Mastercam experience is an advantage.
• Good problem solving and communication skills in English.

• Adjust settings to ensure stable production and quality.
• Read drawings, set up work and verify tolerances.

Job description

Independently set up and operate Mazak CNC Milling / Machining Centre machines.

Perform complete machine setup, including workpiece clamping, tooling setup, tool measurement, work offset setting and machine preparation.

Adjust machine settings, tool offsets and machining parameters to ensure stable production and product quality.

Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances and machining requirements.

Perform first-piece inspection and in-process dimensional checks.

Troubleshoot basic machine, tooling and machining issues.

Perform CNC programming and modify existing programs when required.

Use CAM programming software for CNC programming. Mastercam experience is preferred.

Maintain machines, tools, fixtures and work areas in good condition.

Work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in CNC Milling / Machining Centre setting and operation.

Must have hands-on experience with Mazak CNC machines.

Only candidates with Mazak CNC experience will be considered.

Able to independently perform machine setup and operate Mazak CNC machines.

Familiar with CNC programming software; Mastercam experience is an advantage.

Basic CNC programming knowledge and ability to modify existing programs.

Able to read and understand engineering drawings and machining specifications.

Good knowledge of tooling, tool offsets, work offsets and machining processes.

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Good communication skills and able to communicate effectively in English.
