Job summary

Mirai Industrial Automation (M) SDN BHD in Subang Jaya, Malaysia, seeks a CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC milling or turning machines to meet job specifications. You will read drawings, select appropriate tools, and verify parts against tolerances with a focus on quality and efficiency.

The role requires 1–2 years CNC machining or assembly experience, with fresh graduates welcome. You will maintain safe work practices and collaborate with engineers and supervisors to improve productivity.

Qualifications

• SKM/ certificate / diploma/ degree in mechanical or related field.
• 1–2 years CNC machining/ assembly experience (fresh graduates welcome).
• Able to read technical drawings and use precision tools.
• Team player, detail-oriented and responsible in completing assigned tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC milling or turning machines according to job specifications.
• Ensure correct tools, fixtures, and materials are used for each job.
• Read and understand engineering drawings, technical diagrams, and work orders to produce accurate parts.
• Make necessary adjustments to machine settings and offsets to achieve precision and tolerance.
• Perform manual finishing or deburring when required.
• Ensure all machined components meet quality standards before approval.
• Conduct routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
• Identify and report any mechanical or quality issues to the supervisor.
• Document production output, inspection results, and any issues encountered during operation.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
• Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and teammates to improve productivity and machining efficiency.
