Job summary

Mehow Medical (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate CNC mills and lathes per documented procedures and safety standards. You will perform high-precision machining from engineering drawings, inspect parts, and report quality issues.

The role requires 1–3 years of CNC experience, reading drawings, and the ability to work night shifts. Röders, Makino or Mazak experience is a plus, with ISO13485 alignment and a strong commitment to quality.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma or technical qualification in mechanical, machining or related field.
• 1–3 years CNC machining experience.
• Experience with precision machining and tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines per procedures, programs and safety standards.
• Perform high-precision machining based on drawings and specs.
• Conduct self-inspection and report quality abnormalities.
• Perform daily machine inspection, basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Maintain CNC fixtures, cutting tools, and related equipment.
• Keep work area and tools clean and organized (5S).

Job description

Operate CNC machines according to machining procedures, CNC programs and safety standards.

Perform high-precision machining based on engineering drawings and specifications.

Conduct self-inspection of machined components and report any quality abnormalities.

Perform daily machine inspection, basic maintenance and troubleshooting.

Maintain and properly use CNC fixtures, cutting tools, magnetic tables and other equipment.

Maintain 5S, safety and cleanliness around the CNC work area.

Record production, quality and tool usage accurately.

Follow work instructions and tasks assigned by supervisors.

Identify and report machine or machining abnormalities promptly.

What We're Looking For

Certificate / Diploma / Technical qualification in Mechanical, Machining, Tool & Die or a related field.

At least 1-3 years of CNC machining experience.

Experience in precision machining with tolerance.

Röders or Makino CNC (Milling) experience is an added advantage.

Mazak (Auto Lathe) experience is an added advantage.

Able to read and understand engineering drawings and work instructions.

Basic knowledge of machine inspection, maintenance and troubleshooting.

Willing to work night shifts.

Responsible, safety-conscious and able to work independently.
