MeHow Medical (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced mould manufacturing specialist to lead new mould processing assessments and coordinate processes for moulds, fixtures and tooling. The role requires deep knowledge of CNC machining, tool making and mould structures, with a strong focus on cost and time efficiency.

You will collaborate with Design, Engineering and external suppliers to ensure manufacturability, accurate man-hour estimation and successful on-time delivery of components.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in mould manufacturing, tooling, machining or a related field.
• Knowledge of mechanical drawings, mould manufacturing processes and tooling processes.
• Practical experience in CNC machining and Tool Making.
• Familiar with different machining equipment and their capabilities.
• Good understanding of plastic injection mould structures, with casing mould experience being an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Lead new mould processing assessments and review machining/process issues to determine appropriate manufacturing methods.
• Coordinate with Design, Engineering and Tool Makers to arrange processes for new moulds, modification moulds and fixtures, including man-hour estimation.
• Review material requirements from the Design team and coordinate the resolution of material ordering abnormalities.
• Review mould design structures and machining processes to ensure consistency and manufacturability.
• Monitor on-site machining and tooling processes, resolve process issues promptly and coordinate with PMC to adjust production capacity and processes to meet mould delivery schedules.
• Prepare technical documents and PPT materials for outsourced machining processes and communicate with external suppliers regarding process abnormalities.
• Explore and implement new machining processes and process improvement methods.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by developing and standardizing effective machining processes to improve production efficiency.
• Work closely with internal teams and the tooling workshop to ensure smooth execution of mould manufacturing activities.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mould Design or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in mould manufacturing, tooling, machining or a related field.

Good knowledge of mechanical drawings, mould manufacturing processes and tooling processes.

Practical experience in CNC machining and Tool Making.

Familiar with different machining equipment and their capabilities.

Good understanding of plastic injection mould structures, with casing mould experience being an advantage.

Familiar with different workpiece clamping methods and fixture design.

Able to accurately estimate machining/manufacturing man-hours using effective calculation methods.

Proficient in UG/NX (UG8.0 or above) and able to independently complete general 3D drawings.

Good problem-solving, communication and coordination skills.

Able to work closely with Tool Makers, Designers, Engineers and external suppliers.

Preferred Skills

Experience in mould process planning and machining process optimization.

Experience in fixture/process design.

Knowledge of continuous improvement and process standardization.
