Job summary

Mehow Medical (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated Mold Technician to support injection mold setup, changes, and start-up checks in Penang, Malaysia. You will ensure proper mold alignment, document setups, and maintain a safe, clean 7S working environment while following ISO13485 procedures.

Ideal applicants have at least 1 year of molding experience and the ability to analyze issues, collaborating with a global medical device customer base.

Qualifications

• Min 1 year experience with Molding or related field.
• Understand 7S Management, QMS, ISO 13485 procedures and requirements.
• Ability to analyze problems.

Responsibilities

• Install and remove injection molds according to production schedules and instructions.
• Perform mold changes and setup activities safely and efficiently.
• Ensure proper alignment and clamping of molds.

Responsible to install and remove injection molds according to production schedules and instructions.

Responsible to perform mold changes and setup activities safely and efficiently.

Responsible to ensure proper alignment and clamping of molds.

Responsible to conduct start-up checks, including water lines, hydraulic connections, and hot runner controller hookups.

Responsible to verify and follow up the completion of plastic injection mold setup. (Up & Down Mold)

Responsible to document mold setups and posting working hours during mold change.

Performed daily 7s activity / safe working environment and maintain high standard.

Report problems or concerns with Molds to superior.

To perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior.

Job Requirements:

Min 1 year experience with Molding or related field.

Understand of 7S Management, QMS, ISO 13485 procedures and requirements.

Ability to analyze problem.
