Mehow Medical (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a production planning professional to prioritize schedules, align delivery dates with machine capacity, and manage orders from receipt to fulfillment.

You will monitor progress, adjust plans to prevent downtime, track yields, and work with purchasing to ensure material availability. The role emphasizes data accuracy, continuous improvement, and timely reporting.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in molding or related field.

Responsabilités

• Prioritize production schedule and commit delivery dates based on machine capacity and job priorities after receiving orders.
• Track job progress and revise production schedule if delinquency or changes in priorities occur.
• Monitor production progress against plan to minimize wastage and downtime.
• Track production yields by processes to improve scheduling efficiency.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of data and closed work orders.
• Prepare material requirements according to production scheduling.
• Raise purchase requisition when materials are insufficient or new orders arrive.
• Prepare and update material forecasts according to customer changes.
• Track incoming direct materials to ensure sufficient supply for in-house production.
• Communicate with related departments on materials and planning.
• Implement continual improvement tasks for production control and planning.
• Prepare reports timely and accurately as required.
• Carry out other duties as required.

Prioritize production schedule and commit delivery dates for orders based on machine capacity and job priorities upon receiving customer order or demand.

Track job progress and revise production schedule if any delinquency in production line or changes in priorities.

Monitor production progress against plan to ensure efficient scheduling to minimize wastage of excess production.

Track production yields by processes to enable efficient scheduling to minimize wastage of excess production.

Ensure the completeness and accuracy of date and closed accomplished work orders.

Responsible to prepare Material Requirements according to production scheduling.

Raise purchase requisition for material when insufficient and upon receiving new orders.

Responsible to prepare and update material forecast according to any customers’ changes.

Track direct materials incoming shipment and ensure that materials are sufficient to support in house production without line down situation.

Communicate promptly and work closely with any related departments on materials and planning activities.

Implement a continual improvement task for production control & planning activities.

Responsible to prepare reports timely and accurately as required.

To carry out any other duties and job functions when required by superior or persons acting on behalf of the company.

Skills Required

Minimum 2 years of working experience with Molding or related field.

Ability to hold meeting with good presentation skills.
