Job summary

Pointstar in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Sales Engineer to build strong technical relationships with prospects and customers. You will support the Sales Team with pre-sales activities, manage PoCs, and prototype integrations in customer environments.

This role requires clear communication, solid technical grounding in cloud/IoT/ML trends, and the ability to work across cultures. You’ll contribute to achieving sales targets while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication to convey solution scope and value.
• Strong technical understanding of cloud and enterprise solutions.
• Awareness of IoT, cloud, ML and BI trends.
• Experience in a multicultural, cross-disciplinary environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales to explore opportunities and set pursuit strategy.
• Handle technical aspects, briefings, PoCs, and coordinating technical resources.
• Demonstrate and prototype integrations in customer/partner environments.
• Assist with GCP and GSuite administration and support.
• Support technical account management for GCP customers and migrate workloads.
• Create system requirements and scope of work for Workspace, GCP, and development projects.
• Contribute to achieving sales targets through technical closures.
