Job summary

SICPA in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, seeks a DevOps/Cloud Operations professional to manage digital solutions and cloud infrastructure. You will deploy upgrades, handle incidents, and maintain documentation while coordinating with L1-L3 support and stakeholders.

The role requires strong scripting and cloud skills, experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Malay and English fluency is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Engineering or related. Certifications would be an advantage.
• Experience in deployment and management of applications on Cloud infrastructure, solution administration, customer support, service management.
• Strong technical skills in Kafka, SQL (PostgreSQL/Oracle), Splunk, AWS CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation tools such as Bash, Python, Postman, and CI/CD platforms including ArgoCD and Argo Workflows.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong stakeholder management, customer service, communication, and documentation skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple activities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in Malay and English; additional language skills are an advantage.
• ITIL certification is a plus.
• A proactive, resilient team player who thrives under pressure, embraces continuous learning, and is willing to work shifts, on-call schedules, or travel when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Digital Solutions provided by SICPA and the underlying Cloud Infrastructure (maintain, deploy upgrades, manage resources, ensure business continuity)
• Perform configuration changes and deployment of new versions.
• Respond to Incidents and Requests escalated by Digital Operations L1 Support
• Update Incidents and Requests in Ticketing tool
• Perform technical troubleshooting and resolve incidents, or identify bugs and complex technical issues.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis, document findings and drive corrective actions
• Escalate Incidents and Requests to L3 Support where appropriate.
• Maintain Knowledge Base
• Contribute to the maintenance of Process Documentation
