Job summary

Smart Selangor is seeking a Cloud & DevOps professional to implement, manage, and monitor cloud-based infrastructure across hyperscale providers and on-premises environments. You will contribute to architecture, automation, and governance for secure deployment pipelines.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams during discovery, evaluating technologies, and ensuring alignment with RS1 initiatives while maintaining system reliability and performance.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar field of study.
1–3 years’ experience in designing and implementing cloud environments, network infrastructure and server infrastructure.
Fresh graduates with willingness to learn and strong fundamentals are encouraged to apply.
Good understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure or GCP).
Knowledge of cloud networking, security, and best practices in cloud/on-premise environments.
Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communications and collaboration skills.
Self-starter able to execute independently under deadlines.

Responsibilities

Implement, manage, and monitor continuous delivery systems and methodologies across cloud providers and on-premises environments.
Design, build, implement and deploy infrastructure-as-code for DevOps, templates and CI/CD pipelines.
Conduct discovery activities to gather requirements and produce documentation for projects.
Review code and system designs to provide feedback for improvements.
Stay updated on market developments to maintain competitiveness of Smart Selangor products.
Evaluate technologies and prepare documentation for solutions aligned with RS1 needs.
Collaborate with project teams to achieve KPIs and SLAs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
