Job summary

Klinik Mediviron IOI City Mall is seeking a dedicated clinic assistant to support doctors during examinations and routine procedures. The role includes assisting with procedures, preparing medications, and maintaining equipment, while ensuring courteous, confidential, and professional interactions with clients.

The successful candidate will contribute to clinical operations, manage appointments, handle billing and insurance claims, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to uphold care

Responsibilities

• Assist doctor with examinations and routine procedures.
• Chaperone consultant during physical examinations.
• Assist in procedures such as dressing, suction, and blood taking.
• Handle clients politely, courteously and professionally at all times.
• Prepare and dispense medications.
• Operate medical equipment with care and professionalism.
• Assist in clinical operations.
• Monitor inventories and medications.
• Follow care regulations and standards.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Assist in maintenance of instruments/equipment in the clinic.
• Make patient appointments and record accurately in appointment book via phone or in person.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient data.
• Process billing and insurance claims and collect payments from patients.
• Check urine for protein as ordered by consultant.
• Dispatch blood samples to the lab when necessary.
• Enforce grooming standards.
• Other related duties as assigned by Senior Executive.

2. To chaperon consultant while doing a physical examination on clients.

3. To assist the Doctor in procedures such as dressing, suction, blood taking.

4. To deal with clients in a polite, courteous and professional manner at all times.

5. Preparing and dispensing medications.

6. Operate medical equipment with care and professionalism.

7. Assist in clinical operations.

8. Monitor supplies of inventories and medications.

9. Follow care regulations and standards.

10. Work within and cooperate with a multidisciplinary team.

11. To perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the supervisor.

12. To assist in the maintenance of the instruments / equipment in the clinic.

13. To deal with clients in a polite, courteous and professional manner at all times.

14. To make appointments for patients and record accurately in the respective consultant appointment book via phone or in person.

15. To maintain strict confidentiality in the patient’s medical and personal data.

16. Process billing and insurance claims accurately, while also collecting payments from patients.

17. To check urine for protein as ordered by the consultant.

18. To dispatch blood samples to the lab whenever necessary.

19. To enforce and maintain the grooming standards.

20. To perform other related duties as assigned by Senior Executive.
