Job summary

Klinik Residen (owned by IMG Health) in Malaysia is seeking a Clinic Assistant to support day-to-day operations, including registering patients, managing appointments, and assisting doctors during consultations. You will help prepare and clean rooms and ensure smooth clinic flow.

Qualifications

  • Minimum SPM or Diploma; healthcare background is an advantage.
  • Prior clinic/healthcare experience preferred.
  • Able to work shifts including nights, weekends, public holidays.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Responsible, disciplined, and able to work under pressure.
  • Willing to learn and follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

  • Register patients and manage walk-in and appointment scheduling.
  • Assist doctors during consultations and basic procedures.
  • Prepare and clean consultation rooms, instruments, and equipment.
  • Handle patient inquiries, counter duties, payments, billing and panel submission.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Ensure clinic cleanliness, infection control, and safety standards.
  • Manage basic inventory, medical supplies, and stock monitoring.
  • Support daily clinic operations and general administrative tasks.
  • Communicate professionally with patients and team members.
