Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a capable Patient Registration & Front Desk Assistant to verify patient details, schedule appointments, and handle calls with professionalism. You will maintain patient records with confidentiality and deliver a friendly front-line experience.

You will also support doctors and nurses, prepare rooms, sterilize equipment, manage billing and receipts, and oversee medical and office supplies.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary education or equivalent
• Prior experience in a clinic or healthcare setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, courteous, and patient-focused attitude

Responsibilities

• Verify patient personal and insurance details
• Schedule and manage appointments
• Handle incoming calls and inquiries professionally
• Maintain patient records and confidentiality
• Assist doctors and nurses during consultations and procedures
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms before and after use
• Ensure all medical equipment is properly sterilized and maintained
• Dispense medication as directed by the doctor (if permitted)
• Monitor and restock medical supplies
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Process billing, payments, and issue receipts
• Handle basic accounting or daily cash balancing
• Prepare reports as required by management
• Ensure proper filing and data entry
• Track inventory levels of medical and office supplies
• Coordinate ordering and restocking of items
