Job summary

Annura Clinic in Kangar, Perlis is seeking a Clinic Assistant to support operations in its natural therapies and alternative medicine clinic. You will be the first contact for patients, handle check-ins, appointments, payments, and assist practitioners with preparing rooms and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients to the clinic and ensuring they feel comfortable and valued
• Managing patient check-in procedures and maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
• Scheduling and coordinating appointments, ensuring efficient clinic operations
• Answering telephone enquiries and responding to patient communications in a professional manner
• Processing patient payments and managing clinic finances with accuracy
• Assisting practitioners by preparing treatment rooms and ensuring all equipment and materials are clean, organised and readily available
• Supporting practitioners during treatments as required, including helping to position patients and managing equipment
• Maintaining a clean, hygienic and welcoming clinic environment in accordance with health and safety standards
• Ordering and restocking clinic supplies, medicines and materials
• Managing clinic administration tasks including filing, photocopying and general office duties
• Providing basic patient education and information about treatments and therapies offered at the clinic

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinic Assistant to join the team at Annura Clinic. This is a full-time position based in Kangar, Perlis. As Clinic Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our natural therapies and alternative medicine clinic. You will be the first point of contact for our patients and will assist in ensuring they receive exceptional care and a welcoming experience. This position is instrumental in maintaining the efficiency and professionalism of our clinic whilst supporting our practitioners in delivering high-quality treatments and therapies.

• Previous experience in a healthcare, clinical or customer service environment is advantageous
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff
• Strong organisational and time management abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Proficiency in using computer systems and clinic management software
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and administrative tasks
• Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods and assist with patient handling as required
• A genuine interest in natural therapies and alternative medicine
• Flexibility and willingness to support the clinic team in various roles as needed
• A calm, empathetic and patient-centred approach to patient care
• Knowledge of confidentiality requirements and patient privacy regulations
