Job summary

CACEIS Malaysia in Putrajaya (IOI City) is seeking a Client Operations Officer in Settlements within Custody. You will process and report on securities settlements, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex trade data are essential. The role requires knowledge of custody products, ability to repair trades, and a proactive approach to issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in Finance, Actuarial Science or related field.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Good knowledge of various investment instruments (equity, bond, repo).

Responsibilities

• Extract reports and investigate trade settlement issues for solution
• Monitor system queue on specific trade statuses
• Perform trade repair in core system to allow accurate and timely trade settlement according to various market deadlines
• Follow up on all trade issues until complete resolution
• Ensure queries received are resolved in timely manner. Where required, queries are followed up diligently until complete resolution
• Escalate operational issues or any abnormality in according to local escalation protocol
• Ensure that all instructions are processed following operating procedure.
• Guide other team members as part of their onboarding journey
