CACEIS Malaysia is seeking a Manager to ensure timely, accurate processing of entitlement events and related daily entries. You will notify and/or pay investors/clients as appropriate, manage operational risk, and develop the team’s capabilities to optimize efficiency.

The role requires strong attention to risk and service standards. Based in IOI City, Putrajaya, the team interacts with stakeholders across Europe and internal custodians, contributing to standardized processes and reliable client

• Process income payments within agreed service standards.
• Conduct reconciliations to ensure all income event details are up to date and payments are in order.
• Full adherence to the team’s control functions, including operations/events and end-of-day checklists.
• Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks of investigation/amendment and clearance of reconciling items.
• Ensure queries raised/assigned to individuals are answered within agreed service standards.
• Provide back-up relief for staff who are absent or on leave to maintain productivity.
• Maintain awareness of Client, external custodians and inter-departmental SLAs and ensure compliance.
• Escalate operational issues that may cause financial or reputational issues to senior staff.
• Establish working relationships across departments and the wider firm.
• Provide feedback on agent network and vendor performance on deviations from SLAs.
• Demonstrate capability to perform validation on common tasks.

As a Manager, you are responsible to provide clients with timely, accurate and efficient processing of all Entitlement events and associated daily entries and to ensure that the investor/client is notified and/or paid as appropriate, to manage Operational risk, development of the team’s operational capabilities and to optimize operational efficiency and to support the Senior Management of Custody Malaysia in the continuous development of efficient and effective organization with a high focus on risk mitigation.

Working Hours: 9:00AM – 6:00PM (Malaysia time)

What will you do?

• Process announcement and receipt of Income payments within agreed service standards.

• Conduct reconciliations to ensure all details of income events are up to date and all payments made are in order.

• Full adherence to the team’s control functions, including operations/events and end-of-the-day checklists.

• Assist with the day-to-day administrative tasks of investigation/amendment and clearance of reconciling items in ensuring accurate processing.

• Ensure that queries raised/assigned to individuals are answered within agreed service standards.

• Ensure on-going productivity by providing back-up relief for staff who are absent or on leave.

• Continually ensure complete awareness of Client, external custodians and inter-departmental Service Level Standards / Agreements and ensure compliance at all times.

• Ensure prompt escalation of operational issues that may cause financial or reputational issues to CACEIS or its clients to Senior Officer/Assistant Manager/Manager of the team/department.

• Establish working relationships with people at all levels both inter departmental and across the wider firm.

• Provide feedback on agent network and vendor performance on any deviations from their service level agreement with CACEIS.

• Able to demonstrate capability to perform validation on common task.
