Qualifications

About the role

Mirecont Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our team in Kuching, Sarawak. As a Civil Engineer - Protege, you will play a pivotal role in the design, planning and implementation of our infrastructure projects. What you’ll be doing

• Conducting site inspections and surveys to gather data and assess project requirements
• Designing civil engineering structures such as buildings, roads, bridges and water treatment facilities
• Preparing detailed engineering drawings, plans and specifications
• Liaising with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
• Monitoring construction progress and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards
• Providing technical support and advice throughout the project lifecycle
• Collaborating with the wider engineering team to identify innovative solutions

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in the civil/structural engineering industry
• Proficient in the use of engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit and Primavera
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
