Job summary

JMT INFRA BINA' is seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. As a Civil Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, planning, and execution of complex infrastructure projects, contributing to the growth and success of our company. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects and develop your expertise within the civil engineering field.

What you'll be doing

Designing and overseeing the construction of EXTERNAL WATER PIPES, RC WATER TANKS, PUMP HOUSE & M&E WORKS, SEWER WORKS & DRAINAGE WORKS and other civil engineering structures

Conducting site assessments, soil testing, and structural analysis to ensure the safety and viability of projects

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including architects, project managers, and construction workers, to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions

Preparing detailed engineering plans, technical specifications, and project reports

Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards

Monitoring project progress, identifying and resolving issues, and making necessary adjustments to meet deadlines and budgets

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, particularly in the design and construction of infrastructure projects

Proficient in the use of engineering software, such as AutoCAD.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and come up with innovative solutions

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards related to civil engineering projects

Registered Professional Engineer (Ir.) or working towards professional registration is preferred
