The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, with 2–3 years of practical experience and proficiency in CAD and BIM tools. Chartered status is desirable and a driving licence is preferred.

About the role
We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Selangor. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, planning, and execution of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards, regulations, and quality benchmarks. What you'll be doing

Conducting site surveys and feasibility studies to assess project requirements and site conditions

Designing and developing civil engineering solutions including plans, drawings, and technical specifications

Preparing detailed project proposals, cost estimates, and timelines

Liaising with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met

Overseeing construction and implementation phases, conducting inspections, and monitoring progress against specifications

Identifying and resolving technical issues and design challenges during project execution

Ensuring all work complies with relevant building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards

Preparing and maintaining comprehensive project documentation and reports

Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including architects, structural engineers, and quantity surveyors

Using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools to develop project deliverables

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline from a recognised institution

Professional registration or qualification as a Chartered Civil Engineer (or equivalent) is highly desirable

Minimum 2–3 years of practical experience in civil engineering design, construction, or project management

Strong proficiency in CAD software and building information modelling (BIM) tools

Solid understanding of structural design principles, geotechnical engineering, and construction methodologies

Knowledge of Malaysian building codes, environmental regulations, and health and safety standards

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex engineering challenges

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams and with external stakeholders

Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work within deadlines

Valid driving licence (preferred)
