The ideal candidate holds a Civil/Structural degree with 10+ years in construction project management, and is proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and Primavera P6, with strong leadership and stakeholder skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of project management experience in construction.
• Experience with pipeline installation, water projects, RC tanks, tanks, reservoirs, pump stations or related civil works.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical civil/structural projects and ensure engineering standards compliance.
• Oversee project planning, contract administration, cost control, and quality management.
• Interpret drawings, specs, and contract documents; manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
• Travel to project sites as required and coordinate with site teams.

Professional Engineer (Civil and Structure)

JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Professional Engineer (Civil and Structure) to join IKATAN GEMAJAYA SDN BHD in Kota Kemuning, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our engineering operations, delivering high-quality civil and structural engineering solutions to our clients. As a Professional Engineer, you will be responsible for leading technical projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, and contributing to the strategic growth of our civil and structural engineering division. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our projects whilst advancing your professional career within a dynamic engineering environment.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as Professional Engineer (Ir.), or equivalent registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), or willingness to obtain this qualification
• Minimum 10 years of experience Project Manager in the construction industry.
• Proven experience in pipeline installation, water transmission/distribution projects, reinforced concrete (RC) tanks, steel tanks, reservoirs, pump stations, or related civil infrastructure works.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project planning, contract administration, cost control, and quality management.
• Familiarity with Malaysian construction standards, CIDB requirements, OSHA regulations, and local authority requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and project reporting tools.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities with the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willing to travel and work at project sites as required.
• Possession of a valid Class D driving licence is an advantage.
