Job summary

Inter Island Group Pte Ltd in Penang is seeking a Service Operations Manager to lead a team of technicians and oversee day-to-day service delivery. You will ensure timely responses to inquiries and service requests, and uphold high quality aligned with SOPs and ISO standards.

You will plan, optimize resources, manage inventory and logistics, and collaborate across Sales, Engineering and Quality. Strong leadership, Bahasa Malaysia/English/Chinese skills, and process discipline are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in chiller service operations.
• Strong knowledge of chiller service processes and safety standards.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, planning and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of technicians and oversee day-to-day service operations.
• Ensure timely response to customer inquiries and service requests.
• Oversee planning, optimization and scheduling for service delivery.
• Monitor KPIs like response time, resolution time, and quality.
• Control inventory, parts, tools and logistics for service.
• Lead training, safety and compliance programs; liaison with Sales/Engineering.
• Prepare regular service performance and operational reports.
