Job summary

KJ Technical Services SDN BHD is seeking a hands‑on HVAC operations leader to head daily site operations and supervise the service team. You will be the main contact between the client and site team, ensuring 24/7 support and adherence to SLAs.

The role requires 3–5 years in HVAC/chiller operations or service engineering, reading engineering drawings, and strong problem‑solving skills. Based in Kuala Lumpur or Johor with shift flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Refrigeration Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HVAC, chiller plant operations, or service engineering.
• Hands‑on experience in HVAC systems, chillers, CDU, or VRF systems.
• Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS); knowledge of PLC controls is an added advantage.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of safety standards, building regulations, and HVAC industry practices.
• Willing to work on a 24/7 shift rotation, including weekends, public holidays, and emergency call‑outs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the project site and supervise the service team.
• Ensure 24/7 site support and timely response to service requests in accordance with service level requirements.
• Plan and oversee preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, coordinate fault rectification, and perform root cause analysis.
• Prepare and maintain operational, maintenance, and service reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company procedures, and client requirements.
• Manage site inventory, spare parts, and maintenance resources efficiently.
• Provide technical guidance to the site team and support testing, commissioning, and system improvements.
• Train and develop team members while monitoring performance and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Open to working in either Kuala Lumpur or Johor.
