Job summary

Chat Union Climaveneta Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an on-site HVAC technician to support, troubleshoot and maintain air conditioning and chiller systems across Johor sites.

The role covers testing and commissioning for chillers, delivering trainings to users and partners, and preparing technical reports with root-cause analyses. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 3–5 years of hands-on experience and English/Malay proficiency; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years hands-on experience in air-conditioning servicing and installation.
• Strong technical knowledge on HVAC systems.
• Understanding of chillers and direct expansion systems preferred.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Malay; Mandarin preferred for client communication.
• Independent with good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting and maintenance for HVAC systems.
• Perform testing and commissioning for chiller systems.
• Provide technical trainings for users and partners.
• Report problems to Quality and Technical Services and help identify solutions.
• Prepare technical reports and root-cause analyses for faults.
• Ensure compliance with work procedures and safety for all related works.
• Prepare SOPs for on-site technical teams and maintain within budget.

Job description

• Provide on site technical support, troubleshooting, service & maintenance for HVAC systems


• Perform testing and commissioning works for chiller systems


• Provide technical trainings for users and partners


• Report problems to the Quality and Technical services of the factory when needed and help identifying solutions


• Prepare technical report & root cause analysis for fault


• Ensure & maintain standard compliance with work procedures & safety for all related works


• Prepare standard operating procedures for on site technical teams and maintain proper work procedures, while operating within allocated budget

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or related fields


• 3-5 years hands-on experience in air-conditioning servicing and installation (priority is given to candidates with understanding of chillers and direct expansion system)


• Strong technical knowledge on HVAC systems


• Knowledge of PLC is a strong plus


• Able to communicate in written and oral English, Malay and (Mandarin). We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
