MTT Shipping Sdn Bhd in Shah Alam is seeking an energetic Legal Executive to support cargo claims, risk management and corporate governance documentation. The role involves coordinating claims processes, maintaining risk registers, and assisting with legal contracts.

You will work with internal stakeholders and external parties, ensure proper filing, and prepare management reports. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of relevant experience and a degree in law or related discipline.

Qualificações

• Degree in Law, Business Administration, Risk Management, or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of cargo claims, risk management, legal administration or related experience.
• Strong organizational, documentation and follow-up skills.
• Analytical, reporting and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office; report preparation.
• Experience in shipping, logistics, maritime or transportation industries is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Manage cargo claims administration including tracking and investigation.
• Maintain and update risk registers and reporting documentation.
• Coordinate risk assessments and risk workshops across the Group.
• Monitor incidents, claims trends and risk exposures; recommend mitigations.
• Assist in preparation and administration of legal documents, contracts and related governance.
• Support contract management processes including filing and renewal monitoring.
• Maintain records of legal, claims and risk management documents.
• Prepare risk and cargo claims reports for management and Board Committees.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external parties on claims, risk and legal matters.
• Provide administrative support for governance documentation as required.

• Manage and coordinate cargo claims administration, including claims tracking, documentation, investigation and follow-up with relevant stakeholders.


• Maintain and update the Group's risk registers, risk reporting documentation and risk monitoring records.


• Coordinate risk assessments and risk workshops across the Group.


• Monitor incidents, claims trends and risk exposures, and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.


• Assist in the preparation, review and administration of legal documents, contracts, agreements and related corporate documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in cargo claims, risk management, legal administration, compliance or related functions.


• Strong organizational, documentation and follow-up skills.


• Good analytical, reporting and problem-solving abilities.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office applications and report preparation.


• Experience in shipping, logistics, maritime or transportation industries would be advantageous.
