Job summary

MTT Shipping Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting for the logistics-related group.

You will ensure accurate financial reporting (AR, AP and Capex), manage cash flow, support budgeting and forecasting, ensure statutory compliance, and work with operations to boost efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications

At least 8 years working experience.
Experience in warehouse / logistics industry will be an added advantage.
Degree or equivalent from any accounting body.

Responsibilities

Oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions for the logistics-related group within the company.
Ensure accurate financial reporting (AR, AP and Capex management).
Effective cash flow management including financing management.
Statutory compliance (accounting standards, tax law, Companies Act).
Financial planning (budget & forecast).
Operational support to drive business performance and sustainability.
Establish and maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies.
Work closely with operational teams to enhance efficiency and profitability.
Support capital expenditure evaluations and investment decisions.

Education

Degree or equivalent from any accounting body
