Job summary

Pasona HR Malaysia is seeking a proactive Career Advisor to join our team and help professionals navigate career choices with top Japanese and multinational clients in Malaysia.

You will source and assess candidates, provide career guidance, and match talent to opportunities, building lasting relationships and a strong talent pipeline across industries. Training and mentoring are provided, with performance-based rewards in a collaborative, people-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
• Psychology, Human Resources, Business, Hospitality, or related fields are an advantage.
• At least 1 year of experience in recruitment is preferred.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; comprehensive training and mentoring will be provided.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Japanese language skills are a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Source and engage quality candidates through job portals, referrals, networking, LinkedIn and social media.
• Conduct interviews to understand candidates' experience, strengths, motivations, and career aspirations.
• Provide professional career advice and recommend suitable opportunities.
• Match talented professionals with positions that align with their skills and long‑term goals.
• Prepare candidates for interviews, salary negotiations and offer acceptance.
• Build strong, long‑term relationships with candidates throughout their career journey.
• Develop and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
• Collaborate closely with teammates to achieve recruitment and business goals.
• Meet professionals from diverse industries and shape careers that make a real difference.
