Job summary

Hap Seng Consolidated Berhad is seeking a proactive Analyst to bridge business needs with technology solutions in Malaysia. The role involves gathering requirements, translating them into system designs, and supporting multiple project implementations from setup to go-live.

You will assist users during rollout, conduct training, and drive continuous improvement of processes through technology while ensuring timely delivery across locations.

Responsibilities

• Work with internal departments to understand business needs and project requirements.
• Gather and analyze requirements, then translate them into system solutions.
• Support software implementation, including system setup, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live activities.
• Assist users during system rollout, parallel runs, and post-implementation support.
• Conduct user training and provide guidance on system usage when required.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes through technology solutions.
• Prepare and maintain project, system, and user documentation.
• Provide ongoing application support and troubleshoot issues for users across different locations.
• Ensure project activities are completed according to agreed timelines.

Job Requirements

• Candidates with good understanding, communication & troubleshooting skills are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in any software project implementation, end-user support or application support.
• Experience in business requirements analysis, documentation, functional unit testing, and facilitating user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Industry and application knowledge of Automotive systems will be an added advantage.
• Experience in Project Management will be an added advantage.
• A skill set in SQL will be an added advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to measure and improve existing processes and procedures.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and able to perform in a team-based environment with a positive working attitude.
