Job summary

Kenanga Group in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Business Analyst to translate business needs into BRD/FRD, assist project management with planning, change deployment, and UAT.

You will monitor system uptime, liaise with vendors, review UAT, document solutions, and train users to ensure smooth transitions during change initiatives.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Pro-actively identify risks and take the lead on resolving issues.
• Call-out risks to project deliveries and communicate to stakeholders.
• Provide functional and technical solutions documentation for in-house and external applications during and after project implementations.
• Review UAT test cases and validate solutions delivered by vendors.
• Support UAT/production deployment and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities.
• Conduct end-user training and produce handover documentation for process changes.
• Work with stakeholders to evaluate business processes and document complex requirements.

Job description

• Gather and analyze functional requirement from Business and transform into detail business and functional documentation.


• Assist project manager in planning and tracking project schedules, deployment of change request and perform user acceptance testing.


• To track all reported issues and follow up on the issue resolution and root cause with the respective vendors.


• Understand from internal users on the request for identify improvements required for the Back office systems. Follow up
  


• with the vendors on the change request raised.


• Daily monitoring on system uptime.


• Liaison with system vendors for issues, enhancements as well as regulator/auditor's queries related to Back office
  


• systems.


• Maintain high standards of BRD & FRD within the team by establishing good practices and habits. Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team

Key Responsibilities:

Application Support

• Provide analytical support to Software development team


• Pro-actively identify strategies to mitigate risks and take the lead on resolving issues


• Pro-actively identify and call-out risks to project deliveries and communicate them to the stakeholders


• Provide functional and technical solutions documentation for support of in-house and external applications during and after project implementations


• Review business's UAT test cases


• Review and validate solution delivered by vendor


• Provide support for UAT/Production deployment & User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test cases and assist with the management of defects


• Review business's UAT test cases


• Conduct end user training and produce handover documentation that assist the business with being ready for any change in process

Business Requirement & Analysis

• Work with stakeholder and senior change team members to evaluating business processes, define and document complex business requirements, uncovering areas of improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.


• Produce good quality business analysis using industry and internal standards as prescribed by Business Change through the effective implementation or use of approved processes, methodologies and deliverables


• Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.


• Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements


• Conducting meetings and presentation to share ideas and finding. Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful findings and reports

Achievement of Staff Development Plan and Contribution to Training Others

1.Provide training, coaching and mentoring to direct reports and others.

2.Monitor staff performance, development plan, discipline and performance matters /issues.
