Job summary

Linergy Power Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Business Operations Specialist to support commercial operations by reviewing sales contracts, managing risks, coordinating credit matters, and turning data into actionable insights.

You will work closely with Finance, Legal, and customers to support contract execution, payment collection, and business performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, Law, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in business operations, sales support, contract management, or a related commercial function.
• Strong understanding of commercial operations, financial principles, and contract and order management requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and recommend practical improvements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage tasks independently and follow through to completion.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with strong data processing and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Review sales contracts to ensure terms align with company policies, manage commercial risks, and protect business interests.
• Support the Sales team in customer negotiations by advising on commercial terms, conditions, and potential risks.
• Review commercial documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain original sales contracts and coordinate with Legal and relevant departments to resolve outstanding issues.
• Coordinate export credit insurance matters and act as the main contact for internal teams and external providers.
• Develop and monitor payment plans for overdue accounts with Finance.
• Verify and approve new customer registration information before account setup.
• Prepare shipment dashboards and business performance reports to track progress against targets.
• Analyse operational data to identify trends and support business decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve commercial workflows, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.

About the Role

Join Linergy Power, a lithium battery manufacturer, as a Business Operations Specialist. In this role, you will support commercial operations by reviewing sales contracts, managing commercial risks, coordinating customer credit matters, and turning business data into actionable insights.

You will work closely with Finance, Legal, and customers to support contract execution, payment collection, and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Management & Commercial Support

Review sales contracts to ensure terms align with company policies, manage commercial risks, and protect business interests.

Support the Sales team in customer negotiations by advising on commercial terms, conditions, and potential risks.

Review commercial documents, including order terms, business correspondence, and formal statements, for accuracy and compliance.

Maintain original sales contracts and coordinate with Legal and relevant departments to resolve outstanding contract issues and ensure timely closure.

Customer Credit & Payment Management

Coordinate export credit insurance matters, including policy applications and claims, as the main contact for internal teams and external providers.

Work with customers and Finance to develop and monitor payment plans for overdue accounts.

Maintain and adjust customer credit limits in coordination with Finance.

Verify and approve new customer registration information before account setup to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Business Reporting & Process Improvement

Prepare shipment dashboards and business performance reports to track progress against targets.

Analyse operational data to identify trends, highlight issues, and support business decisions.

Conduct regular reviews of business performance and outstanding contract matters, following up with relevant teams on agreed actions.

Identify opportunities to improve commercial workflows, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Requirements
