Job summary

Linergy Power Sdn Bhd is a lithium-ion battery manufacturer focused on engineering, production and energy storage solutions in Malaysia. The role centers on monitoring production processes, identifying abnormalities, and supporting process improvement activities on the line.

You will work with Process Engineers and production teams to maintain smooth operation, perform basic troubleshooting, manage MES data and assist in line changes and verification activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical or related field.
• Able to communicate in English and document basic records.
• Basic electrical tests and use of test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production processes and identify abnormal conditions and deviations.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and escalate issues when needed.
• Support process engineers in line setup, modification, and new model implementation.
• Inspect products, perform basic measurements and verification after changes.
• Record test results, defects, repair status, and traceability in MES.
• Maintain process records, checklists, and documentation; support operator training.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Equipment and Engineering to resolve issues.

Job description

This is a technical production support role focused on monitoring production processes, identifying abnormalities, and supporting process improvement activities. You will work closely with Process Engineers and production teams to maintain smooth line operation and resolve production issues.

Key responsibilities

Monitor production processes and identify abnormal conditions, process deviations, and recurring issues

Perform basic troubleshooting of process-related issues and **escalate** issues when necessary

Support Process Engineers in process improvement, line setup, line modification, new model/process implementation, and validation activities

Perform product inspection, basic measurements, testing, and verification after process changes or corrective actions

Support defect investigation, repair/rework activities, and implementation of corrective actions for recurring issues

Operate MES or related production systems to record test results, defects, repair status, and product traceability information

Maintain process records, checklists, test results, and other process-related documentation

Support operator training and ensure correct working methods are followed at the production line

Work closely with Production, Quality, Equipment, and Engineering teams to resolve production issues and maintain smooth line operation

Monitor critical process parameters and verify that production conditions remain within specification

About you

Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or a related technical field

Able to perform basic voltage, continuity, resistance, insulation, and electrical functional checks using appropriate tools and test equipment

Have basic computer skills to manage MES and other production systems for product traceability and defect recording

Able to communicate in English and understand basic technical instructions in English

Able to prepare basic reports, records, and documentation such as SOPs and WI using Microsoft Excel and Word

Willing to work overtime by weekdays and Saturdays when required, with applicable compensation

Experience in battery, electronics, electrical assembly, or other manufacturing environments (preferred)

Experience in process troubleshooting, testing, repair, rework, or line improvement (preferred)

Familiarity with MES, ESD, 5S, quality control, and production traceability (preferred)

Good communication and teamwork skills with ability to work independently and respond to production abnormalities promptly
