LIM SOH & GOONTING (JOHOR BAHRU BRANCH) is seeking a Business Development professional to join our Johor Bahru and KLCC branch. This full-time role focuses on driving growth, building strategic partnerships and identifying new market opportunities to expand our client base and revenue streams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development, sales or a similar client-facing role within the sales industry.
• Strong track record of identifying and converting opportunities into client relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
• Ability to develop and execute business strategies that drive results.
• Proficiency in market research and competitor analysis.
• Strong negotiation and deal-closing capabilities.
• Results-driven with a focus on meeting targets.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential clients within the assigned market or geographical area.
• Develop and implement business development strategies to support growth objectives and revenue targets.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, partners and stakeholders.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and market gaps.
• Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations and pitches to prospective clients.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure new business with favourable terms.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful onboarding and service delivery.
• Monitor and report on business development metrics such as pipeline progress and revenue forecasts.
• Attend industry events and networking sessions to generate leads and enhance brand visibility.
• Support achievement of sales targets and overall business performance.
