Job summary

Wong & Partners is seeking a proactive Business Development & Marketing Assistant to support the central BD team in Kuala Lumpur. You will assist with events, proposals, marketing collaterals, directory submissions and ad-hoc projects, while gaining exposure to professional services marketing and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Degree in communications/marketing/business/law or humanities.
• Experience in a professional services or client service role is advantageous.
• Fresh graduates considered, but at least 3 years' experience preferred.
• Administrative experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate deals/matter collection and reporting monthly.
• Maintain updated deals lists and track status to completion.
• Plan and manage events from inception to ROI-focused delivery.
• Assist partners with pitching; gather background research and firm experience.
• Draft submissions with PBS resources and lawyers, ensuring deadlines.
• Provide strategic/creative BD input to support department-wide strategy.
• Coordinate marketing materials, client invitations, alerts and newsletters.
• Maintain marketing database/interactions and firm profile.
