Job summary

Manulife Financial in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Business Development professional to build strong partnerships with financial intermediaries and drive sustainable growth within the Investment Management Partnership Team. You will enhance product knowledge, market insights, and distributor engagement, while coordinating with internal teams to deliver on strategic plans.

The role emphasizes strong sales capability, client service, and relationship management, with a hybrid work arrangement and a focus

Qualifications

Bachelor degree or equivalent business qualification.
Experience of at least 2 years and preferably 3–5 years in a Financial Services organization.
Priority given to candidates with relevant sales experience.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with financial intermediaries and distribution partners to drive sustainable business growth.
Continuously develop knowledge and competencies including product knowledge, investment and market insights, relationship management, communication, and time management skills.
Collaborate with partners to develop and execute strategic business plans supporting new product onboarding, net sales growth, and marketing initiatives.
Take ownership of distributors' sales performance and ensure delivery of agreed business and marketing plans.
Conduct training sessions, product presentations, and market updates for distributors' sales teams.
