Job summary

Zurich Insurance in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Strategic Relationship Manager to oversee key accounts and drive innovative insurance solutions through partnerships. The ideal candidate will have between 10 to 15 years of experience in business development and strategic alliances, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Responsibilities include managing partnerships, leading projects, and developing new solutions while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for successful outcomes.

Job Summary

To act as the strategic relationship manager for designated Key Accounts across Partnerships and drive the acquisition and development of partnerships to deliver innovative insurance solutions and contribute to the development of profitable growth.

Job Accountabilities

• Act as main contact person towards the cooperation partners and internal functions.
• Acquire partnerships in the field of cooperation and maintain existing partnerships.
• Lead the end‑to‑end process during planning and implementation of all partner‑related development measures, ensuring market working with importers and financial companies, as well as on‑site garage companies.
• Coordinate the elaboration and subsequent implementation of desired solutions together with relevant internal authorities and assume responsibility for the results of partnerships assigned.
• Develop new insurance solutions.
• Participate in and manage partner and market specific projects and take outcome responsibility for allocated accounts.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (Master’s or MBA is an added advantage).
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role, managing teams and cross‑functional stakeholders.
